The news finally came down on Thursday. Tomorrowland Winter, one of the biggest electronic music festivals in Europe, will not take place. The festival was supposed to take place over a week, from 14 to 21 March, in Alpe d’Huez (Isère). “It is with a heavy heart that we have been informed by the French government of the decision to cancel this second edition of the festival. The French government has taken drastic measures concerning the COVID-19 in France by banning large gatherings of people in confined spaces and those with participants of different nationalities,” the organisers explained in a statement.
